SWITCHYARD — FreeCell Solitaire

Play free FreeCell solitaire online with all 52 cards face up, four free cells, eight tableau columns, daily deals, hints, undo, and local saves.

What this game does

SWITCHYARD is an open-card FreeCell solitaire puzzle. Every card starts face up, so the challenge is planning moves and managing four temporary free cells while sorting eight tableau columns into four suit foundations.

When to play

Play a random deal or the daily challenge when you want a strategy-focused solitaire game with no hidden cards.

Who this is for

FreeCell players and card-puzzle fans who enjoy planning several moves ahead and using temporary spaces efficiently.

How to play

  1. Build tableau sequences downward by alternating red and black cards.
  2. Use each of the four free cells to hold one card temporarily.
  3. Build each suit foundation upward from Ace to King. Empty tableau columns and free cells increase the sequences you can move.
  4. Select a card and then a highlighted destination, or drag cards on desktop. Use Hint, Undo, or Redo as needed.

Inputs and controls

Choose a random deal or daily challenge. The game supports tap-to-select, desktop dragging, keyboard shortcuts, hints, safe auto-send, and undo/redo.

Outputs and saving

The board shows moves, elapsed time, and cards delivered to foundations. Game progress is saved in the current browser; there is no account or cloud synchronization.
