Harvest Walk 3D — Virtual Farmers Market

Explore a virtual 3D farmers market with sample vendors, manage booth details locally, and share or export market data as JSON.

What this tool does

Harvest Walk is a single-file 3D market demo with two sides: visitors can walk between sample vendor booths and open their storefront details; vendors can use a separate portal to edit booth information, media and product links.

When to use it

Use it to explore a virtual market experience or to prototype a vendor booth and its links on this device. It does not create a live marketplace or publish listings to a shared server.

Who this is for

Farmers, makers and small-market organizers exploring a 3D storefront concept, plus visitors who want to browse sample vendor profiles.

How to use it

  1. Select Enter the 3D Market. On a computer, move with WASD or the arrow keys, drag to look around, press E or click a booth to interact, and hold Shift to walk faster.
  2. Use the map or vendor directory to find a booth. Open its details to browse the vendor story, products and available media or website links.
  3. Open Vendor Portal to add or edit a booth, including its name, category, style, story, contact details, links, images and product information.
  4. Save and update the 3D booth to store changes in this browser. Export or import JSON to move the market data, or copy a share link to share a snapshot.
  5. On a touch device, use the on-screen movement controls and map.

Inputs

Vendor and product names, descriptions, categories, prices, colors and booth styles; optional contact, shop, video and social links; and a booth image URL or image file.

Outputs

A browsable 3D market, vendor directory and storefront panels; locally saved booth data; downloadable or importable JSON; and a share link containing a snapshot of the market data.

Example use cases

Data and limitations

This is a no-sign-in prototype. Booth edits are saved in this browser’s local storage; there is no hosted database, vendor account system or shared live listing. The share link embeds the market data, so anyone with that link can view its contents—do not include private information. Vendor shop and product links open external sites; this demo does not process orders or payments. The 3D view requires a browser with WebGL support.

Browser automation

Compatible in-page automation can use window.MarketAgent to inspect, add or update vendors, open the market or vendor portal, and import or export market data.
