Enhanced 3D Castle Generator
Build a configurable 3D castle with a keep, towers, walls, gatehouse, moat, crenellations, wall walks, arrow slits, and custom colors, then export OBJ or GLB.
What this tool does
Enhanced 3D Castle Generator is a Three.js model builder that creates a castle from adjustable architectural parts. Use the Base, Keep, Towers, Walls, Gate, Moat, and Colors panels to change dimensions, toggle features, adjust densities and proportions, recolor materials, and preview the resulting model in 3D.
Who this is for
- 3D modeling and game-design hobbyists exploring procedural structures
- Students learning how parameters generate a 3D scene
- Creators preparing castle concepts for visualization or compatible 3D workflows
- Designers comparing medieval architectural proportions and color schemes
How to use this tool
- Open a control panel from the bottom navigation
- Adjust base width and depth, wall height, keep style and size, tower proportions, and wall details
- Toggle the keep, towers, crenellations, wall walk, arrow slits, gatehouse, and moat
- Set moat, wall, water, and tower-cap colors
- Review the generated model in the 3D viewport and close the panel when you want an unobstructed view
- Use Export .OBJ or Export .GLB to download the generated model
Inputs
- Base and walls — Base width/depth and wall height
- Keep and towers — Shape, size, height, tower radius, and optional towers
- Defensive details — Crenellation height/density, wall-walk width, arrow-slit density/height
- Gate and moat — Gatehouse proportions and moat width/depth toggles
- Materials — Water, wall, and tower-cap color pickers
Outputs
- Procedural 3D model — A generated castle scene with the selected architectural parts
- Interactive preview — A navigable viewport for inspecting the model
- OBJ export — Mesh file for compatible 3D software
- GLB export — Portable glTF binary model file for compatible 3D viewers and workflows
Example use cases
- Game environment concept — Prototype a castle silhouette and defensive layout
- 3D-print exploration — Generate a starting model for later cleanup and print preparation
- Visual reference — Compare tower, moat, gatehouse, and wall configurations
Frequently asked questions
Can I export the castle model?
Yes. Export .OBJ creates an OBJ mesh and Export .GLB creates a GLB model for compatible 3D software or viewers.
Which castle parts can I customize?
You can customize the base, keep, towers, walls, gatehouse, moat, crenellations, wall walk, arrow slits, and material colors.
Is the exported model ready to print?
The export is a generated 3D model, not a guarantee of printability. Inspect scale, manifold geometry, supports, and other requirements in your normal 3D-printing workflow.
