Inputs include item name, current quantity, weekly usage rate, purchase quantity, minimum kept quantity, optional shelf life, importance, and days to get. Purchase history accepts an item name, date, and quantity. Inventory and history are saved in browser local storage.

Frequently asked questions
How are restock dates estimated?
The planner uses current quantity, weekly usage, minimum quantity, and planning horizon for simple estimates. Results are not a demand forecast.
Does it connect to a store or grocery account?
No. Inventory, history, and shopping plans are local browser data; the app does not check retailer prices, stock, or delivery availability.
Can I move my grocery list to another browser?
Yes. Export inventory and purchase history as JSON, then import the file in another browser. Local storage is otherwise device-specific.
