Draw garden beds, set grid dimensions, place crops by cell, track planting statuses and notes, and export/import a JSON garden plan.
Spring Crop Planner lets you draw named garden beds, overlay rectangular grids, assign crops to cells, and record planting dates, status, and notes. The seasonal name is branding; it does not provide seasonal recommendations.
Inputs include bed names and drawn points, grid dimensions, crop name/icon/date/status/notes, and bed or crop edits. The grid is rectangular over the bed’s bounding box, including for irregular outlines.
The page shows bed and crop visuals, relative normalized bed area, crop summaries, and status timelines. Export Data downloads a JSON plan; there is no autosave, weather data, yield prediction, or reminder system.
No. It records the crops and dates you enter but has no crop database, frost/zone data, planting recommendations, or weather connection.
No. Bed area is a relative normalized value in square units, not a physical measurement or materials estimate.
No. An occupied cell is rejected when you try to assign another crop; choose an available grid cell instead.
Use Export Data to download the JSON plan, then Import Data to restore it later. The page does not save automatically.
