Browser-Native 2D to 3D Extrusion & CAD Workspace
Trace3D Pro turns blueprints, technical diagrams, and custom 2D drawings into 3D printable meshes—instantly inside your web browser.
A browser-based drafting workspace for turning 2D paths into configurable 3D extrusions.
Trace3D Pro lets you draw or trace 2D vector paths, turn closed paths into solid areas or hollow walls, and inspect the resulting geometry in a live 3D preview. It combines a 2D drafting canvas, vector layer controls, and browser-side mesh export in one workspace.
Draw paths with the line, freehand, rectangle, circle, and curve tools, or upload an image/* background reference. Optional grid size, grid snapping, and vertex snapping help position points. Each layer can use a solid or hollow mode, an extrusion depth in millimetres, and—when hollow—a wall thickness between 0.5 and 20 mm.
The app renders the drafted paths in 2D and generates an interactive 3D preview with layer count, triangle count, and dimensions. The export controls download the geometry as GLB, STL, or OBJ files for inspection or use in a compatible 3D workflow.
Yes. Upload an image under Trace Background; it is displayed as a guide behind the 2D drafting canvas while you draw paths.
Solid Area creates a filled extrusion from a closed path. Hollow Wall creates an extruded perimeter and exposes a wall-thickness control for open or enclosed path outlines.
The page reads the reference image and builds the draft and preview in the browser. Exported files are generated by the page when you choose GLB, STL, or OBJ.
