Paint a colored voxel model layer by layer, inspect it in 2D and 3D, and export the in-memory model.
Voxel Model Painter provides a cross-section canvas and a Three.js 3D preview for building voxel geometry. Paint, erase, fill, line, rectangle, and circle regions, switch layers, show an onion-skin previous layer, copy or paste a layer, and group voxels by color in the preview.
Inputs include a grid from 8–64, a maximum resolution from 16–256, voxel size in millimeters, render scale, color, brush size, Z layer, drawing tool, and voxel-map coordinates. The page does not provide model import or project loading.
The app renders a 2D cross-section and colored 3D preview. Export downloads model.obj, model.stl, or model.glb. Exports are generated from the current in-memory voxel map and do not include textures or a project file.
No. The editor starts with an empty in-memory voxel map. Reloading the page loses the current model because there is no project save or load feature.
Dense voxel models can be expensive because export builds geometry for individual voxels before grouping by color. Use smaller grids for faster previews and exports.
No. OBJ, STL, and GLB exports represent the colored voxel geometry; the page does not paint or embed image textures.
