Shopify-to-Square downloads Square_Import_Generated.csv; Square-to-Shopify downloads Shopify_Import_Generated.csv. The output is a mapped CSV, not a direct API import or a validation report.

What CSV headers are required?

The file must use the expected Shopify or Square export headers. Rows without the required product handle or item name may be skipped, and an empty usable dataset returns an error.

Are all Shopify and Square fields preserved?

No. The converter maps a defined subset of catalog fields. Multiple Shopify options, platform-specific tax or fulfillment semantics, and other unsupported fields may not carry across.

Does it upload products directly to my store?

No. It creates a downloadable CSV in the browser. Review the file and import it through the destination platform’s own workflow.
