Our Vision

Software for a new era.

SolvProb is building software for a new era: an era where software is no longer a rigid product that customers must adapt to, but a highly customizable system that can continuously adapt to the customer.

Rather than beginning with the limitations of an existing software package, SolvProb begins with the customer's problem, workflow, requirements, existing systems, and desired outcome. The objective is simple: build the software around the customer instead of forcing the customer to work around the software.

A New Software Paradigm

Traditional software is developed as a fixed product with predefined workflows sold to many customers. AI and agentic software development are changing that model. SolvProb believes the next generation of software will become increasingly custom, connected, intelligent, and adaptable — built around exactly what each organization needs.

What Software Ultimately Does

Business software stores information securely, controls who can access it, and lets users and connected systems create, retrieve, update, organize, automate, connect, and visually present that information. If information can be securely stored, structured, accessed, and exchanged, a highly customized system can be designed around it.

Custom Software Without the Traditional Boundaries

SolvProb develops systems capable of connecting the information, workflows, applications, databases, APIs, automation, and user experiences an organization requires. The objective is not simply to sell software — it is to solve the customer's operational problem through software that can evolve with the organization.

Agentic Customization

SolvProb utilizes increasingly capable AI and agentic development technologies throughout the software-development process, while the human remains responsible for engineering judgment, requirements, architecture, security, and validation. Human-led. AI-agent-powered. Customer-specific.

Engineering-Led From the Beginning

SolvProb is led by its founder and CEO, an electrical and software engineer educated at the University of Victoria, with experience spanning industrial automation, electrical engineering, high-voltage systems, control systems, software development, hardware design, and system integration at multi-million-dollar industrial scale.

Where SolvProb Is Going

As the cost and complexity of developing custom software decrease, the distinction between buying software and building software may become much smaller. SolvProb intends to help lead that transition by building intelligent, connected, secure, and highly adaptable software designed around the exact problems its customers need solved.

Software should conform to the organization—not the organization to the software.
