Practice a component-replacement workflow in an interactive facility maintenance scene with desktop, VR, and AR controls.
VRTrainFacility presents a six-step maintenance scenario: put on PPE, identify a fault, isolate power or flow, apply lockout/tagout, replace a component, and restore and verify the system. The scene supports interactive 3D equipment and local asset imports.
Inputs include desktop or XR controller actions and optional local GLB, GLTF, or OBJ files for a faulty part and maintenance tool. A PNG or other image file can be imported as a wall schematic.
The output is an interactive facility scene with task progress, console feedback, and a completed-training state. Imported assets are displayed locally in the current browser session.
This is an interactive training prototype, not a substitute for site-specific procedures, qualified supervision, or certified lockout/tagout training. WebXR features depend on browser and device support, and imported assets are processed only in the current session.
It covers PPE, fault identification, power or flow isolation, lockout/tagout, component replacement, and restore-and-verify checks.
Yes. The configurator accepts local GLB, GLTF, and OBJ files for a faulty part or maintenance tool, plus an image for the wall schematic.
No. It demonstrates a simplified sequence and should not replace employer procedures, qualified instruction, or hands-on safety certification.
