Transform a local image, choose a crop shape, and download the result as a PNG.
Snap Crop is an in-browser image cropper with zoom, rotation, skew, straighten, grid, invert, clone, and several crop modes. It supports rectangle, aspect-ratio, circle/ellipse, freehand, and brush-path selections, plus optional AI-assisted object selection.
Inputs include an image file, transform settings, crop shape, aspect ratio, freehand or brush points, grid and invert options, and an optional AI category such as person, face, car, animal, book, chair, laptop, TV, or bottle.
The edited image is rendered in memory and Download Image creates snapcrop-final-plus.png. AI-assisted selection displays detected object boxes and uses a chosen box as the basis for an editable crop selection.
No. AI uses COCO-SSD-style object detection to suggest a bounding box for supported categories. It is not pixel-accurate segmentation or automatic background removal.
The current download action creates a PNG image. The page does not provide project persistence or alternate export formats.
The page processes the selected image in browser memory. AI detection depends on TensorFlow.js and the COCO-SSD model loading from its configured CDN.
